Yerevan named World Book Capital 2012 by UN cultural agency
This is very exciting news and historically significant. 2012 also marks the 500th anniversary of the Armenian printed book (San Lazzaro degli Armeni (Venice): 1512). More to come ~~~ Just Google "yerevan world book capital 2012" and you will see how quickly the word is spreading.
